Wednesday Evening

April 1, 2020

Hello Everyone!

I felt compelled to reach out to our church family this evening with a few things. I'm sure all of you are doing your level best to comply with Governor Lee's March 30th stay at home order that has now been extended a minimum of two weeks, through April 14, 2020.

It has been a very difficult time for all of us to be unable to congregate together for services and all other activities during the Covid-19 pandemic.

I am sure you are wondering when we will be able to reconvene at our facilities. I want each of you to know that the deacons and I are monitoring this situation on a daily basis, and that there has been no set date currently for that to happen.

With that said, I would first ask you all to continue to be patient until the Covid19 virus is no longer a threat, and the medical experts and government officials have have deemed it safe for us to once again be allowed to gather in numbers greater than the current recommendation of no more than 10.

Secondly, I would ask that you be patient with me and your deacons. None of us have ever made, nor did we ever expect to face making the difficult decisions that have been necessary to make concerning suspending activities and worship services at Hillview.

I assure you that we will make announcements on decisions concerning these things as soon as we possibly can after they are made.

Thirdly, for now, please:
*Stay connected by phone
*Stay focused on God
*Stay positive
*Stay prayerful
*Stay at home as much as possible

If anyone has any specific needs or any questions, please let me know!

In His Service,
Pastor Tom Brantley
